Spring into Summer!

Well we haven't skipped a beat since we had Marlowe and it is really nice to be maternity leave until August. We have been having lots of adventures with the kids and it is the last summer before Lucette goes to school and is in a locked down schedule. Will is busy with lots of home projects and continues to amaze me with his talents.

Updates for all:

Lucette- 5 1/2- Lucette graduated from SHJ Pre-K program and is reading little books. She practices her letters and sounds and is very eager to learn. She has an amazing creative side and can draw like a 3rd grader? She loves to draw princesses and families with a mom and dad and 3 little girls. She participated in ballet classes this spring and had her recital. She has a little stage fright, so we were really proud that she got out there in front of 300 people and performed her routine with her class. She has also consisitently been taking gymnastics and is really coordinated and having fun with it. Will and I have been trying to take her rock climbing once a week, and she is a natural. She lost her first tooth in June and the tooth fairy brough her a piece of chocolate and a $2.00 bill. She is a loving, compassionate little girl and a great big sister to Violet and Marlowe. She helps me every step of the way and beleive me it is awesome! She apsired to be a dentist and now wants to be a dolphin trainer.

Violet- 3 1/2- Violet finished up her school year at Mt. Zion and will start a new school this fall. She likes to do whatever Lucette is doing and I cannot believe how creative her play is. She is either a pegasus with sparkly wings or a prince that kisses his princess on their wedding day. She loves to play dress up. She is super funny and says things that will make you belly laugh. She is our "drama" queen and we never know what's going to happen. She is always up for a challenge and is willing to try new things. She enjoyed ballet and Gymnastics this spring. She had an incredible ballet performance and stole the show.

Marlowe- 4 months. Marlowe is our living doll. She is just so cute! She loves to watch her big sisters and enjoys walks in the stroller and being held, talked to and laying under the trees. She is not sleeping through the night, but somehow this doesn't bother me, and I love the cuddle time in the middle of the night.

Will and Jenni- Will is in another new position at work. I continue to be very proud of his progress. He went from having over 300 people reporting to him to a smaller number and helping to integrate a newly purchased company into his. It is more GIS focused and he likes the new challenges and the future this may bring. He just built a new deck, garden, fence and his skills remind me of his Grandfather~who would be so proud. I think a little part of him knows that he is looking down and smiling on the hard work Will does for his family. I am busy with the girls, making sure they have the best fun spirited adventures through life. We are still meeting with my amazing mom's group and I have been enjoying my book club. I have started to climb a lot once again and realize that this is a passion that brings me happiness that I cannot describe. Maybe it's the free-spirited community and "girl power" that inspires me, or maybe it is the ripped physiques I hope to once again have! Ha! I look at my girls and realize how blessed I am and that will come in due time. The girls got to see me run the Mother's Day 9K, and they looked so proud! This summer I have enjoyed sipping margaritas at the pool with good friends and riding my bike with my family.
