8 Months!

Hello Everyone! WOW! Life has been exciting and i am developing fast. My motor skills are out of this world and verbally i am moving along! I say MAMA all the time, but i do not associate it with my mommy yet. I just started saying DaDa. Summer is hot and I have been spending lots of time at our neighborhood pool. I have been having playtime with lots of friends, Peter, Lauren, Iona, and Alex. Mommy and i are starting a stroller fitness class this week and it should be fun! My music together class starts next month and to get prepared we have been listening to French children's songs and Samba! Mommy and Daddy love dancing for me! We went to the Aquarium recently and i loved learning and watching all the fish. Daddy pointed out all the different species and we were amazed by how pretty all the colors were. Mommy and Daddy went away for their anniversary and my Grandma and Grandpa came into town to watch me. They took me everywhere and bought me lots of toys. We went out to dinner, Pearl Street mall and the Big Mall!!! It was fun and we spent a lot of time outside with Raven and going for walks. Mommy and Daddy called eight times one day, but Grandpa told them I didn't miss them!! HaHa! I think they would take me home with them if they could. I have become an even better sleeper at night. I sleep on average 11 hours a night!!! I am so active during the day so when i am up i play hard!!! I love to pull myself to a stand any moment I can. I try to climb my knobs on the dresser and sometimes i take one hand off and try it with one hand. I have a walker that has wheels and allows me to stroll around the house. I am a great walker and soon I will try it on my own. I have been able to stand still on my own for a few seconds. Mommy and Daddy say that I am very advanced, but I say, "Hey! look at my parents!" At a recent photo shoot (mommy's obsessed with professional pictures!), i climbed the ladder that i was supposed to lean againist! Mommy and I went out and bought a Burley so we can ride our bikes around town and meet friends for coffee. We plan on riding downtown for dinner and summer concerts so my new toy will come in handy. Daddy wants to go to Rifle for Father's Day and we can't wait! I went on a climbing trip a few weekends ago and it was great to nap near the stream and enjoy the outdoors. Well that is the low down. I change so much every month so we will keep the updates coming!
