Christmas 2010
Dreaming of a white Christmas! It was a little warm this Christmas season. We were realy busy with Christmas parties, and holiday fun! We decorated cookies at a charity event for Colorado Cares in Chataqua. We got to see the nutcracker (Vi for the first time), and went to the nutcracker tea at the Boulderado. A very fun tradition with our friends! We even went ice-skating on Chirstmas Eve! I was able to skate by myself and Violet was very brave! We had a holiday celebration where Santa came to visit for Violet's 3rd birthday. There were lots of kiddos there and friends! Santa was a huge hit! Christmas was nice and quiet with our family of four! Santa came and brought us everything on our list! We must of been very good little girls! Some of our highlights were our American Girls from Grammy and Pap Pap, and our pillow pets from Santa!

Thanksgiving 2010
Thanksgiving 2010
Thanksgiving fun! It has been such mild fall weather wise. We have been getting out hiking and daddy has been getting out to rock climb quite a bit. Grammy and Pap Pap came out for Thanksgiving. We had a great time! They took us to do many special things and our time spent with them is precious! We made a pie for the first time from scratch! It was a praline pumpkin pie and it was delicious. Jess and Jared also made it to dinner and we are so thankful for our family and friends.

Fall Fun 2010
The FALL of 2010 was full of plans that kept us very busy through the season. Being that I had not felt well through my pregnancy, having plans made it go as fast as it could. Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I hope it rubs off on my children. We decided on an Alice in Wonderland theme, fueled by Lucette's desire to be "Alice." Will and I were cards and Violet was the Queen of Hearts. Lots of trips to the farm, Haybails, Halloween parties, Trunk or Treat and a full day of Trick of Treating made for a great Halloween Season. Lucette is so enjoying the penguin classroom and wants to be a dentist when she grows up. Lucette played on a school soccer team that made for fun Saturday mornings! We were really proud of Lucette who started off just sitting on the sidelines and by season's end finished playing on the field. Violet started pre-school this fall and loves her teacher and her classroom. She is enjoying making new friends and is starting to potty train. Both girls have been busy in fall activities and have the best time at the rec. center gymnastics.
Lucette's 5th Birthday!

The McAndrew Family
Lucette had the most amazing 5th birthday that any child could wish for! We went to NYC!!! She experienced riding the subway, seeing Mary Poppins on Broadway, riding the train to Croton and staying in a fancy hotel. She loved times square, central park zoo (looks differnent than on Madagascar!) and FAO Schwartz! It was over the top exciting to see my best friend Erin, her amazing family and for Lucette to get to meet Evelyn. They had a instant connection and we can only hope that they might be college roomates one day as well!
