Lucette 2 months old

Well I am developing a great personality! I started laughing, cooing and my mommy swears I said ‘HI” the other day. My Aunt Emily came to visit me and she babysat me while my mommy and daddy went on a date! I continue to love music and I grab my toys on my activity center and push them back and forth. I have trouble paying attention through a full book, but my mommy and daddy still try to read to me. I recently discovered my dog and I think she is funny. I lose interest fast but that is ok! I love to look at myself in the mirror and I am terrific at tummy time! I can hold my head up on tummy time and I have a lot of control when I am being held. I went to my first Christmas party the other day! It tuckered me out and I fell asleep in 10 minutes. I had my two month shots and it was really hard for me and my mommy. I was a champ and I made it through the tough day. Daddy took off work and helped comfort me. I weighed 11 lbs. 4 oz. and I am 23 inches tall. My head has grown and I seem to be more like a 3 month old in my developmental milestones. It has been really cold here in Boulder so our daily walks outside have stopped. I now love to have my diaper changed, but getting dressed bums me out. My mommy is getting more and more comfortable taking me on outings and we try to go out everyday. On Friday nights I go to the climbing gym and watch my mommy and daddy climb. I am becoming a better sleeper as the days progress. Last night I slept 7 hours and my mommy and daddy were so proud! I am talking all the time in my own language and mommy loves to sing Christmas carols. I love our Christmas tree and mommy bought me a psychedelic snowman that sparkles! My friend Lauren Mckenzie (her mommy and my mommy were in prenatal swim class together) went to see Santa. He was a little scary and it happened to be pet day! Well I am starting mommy and baby yoga this week and a music class. My daddy keeps telling me Santa is coming on the 25th! I’m excited!!!!! I’ll chat with you’all next month!
